1998 Sundowner LQ trailer - SOLD

Bed area in nose of trailer. Storage cupboard at the head of the bed for blankets & pillows.
Clothes closet and countertop on the right.
Additional storage cupboards on the left.
This view as you walk into the LQ. There is a large mirror above the sink. Lower cupboard door on right houses the water heater, door on the left has drawers in it. Clothes closet to the left of the counter.  On the right is the microwave with storage shelves on bottom and top of microwave area.
This is a better view of the microwave and storage space above and below microwave.  The large water tanks goes from floor to almost the ceiling behind these cupboards/microwave. Note the red straps holding water tank in place.
Walk-thru door to LQ area, while standing in the horse area. The two sets of drawers under the bed loft in the LQ area have spacious storage. The bottom drawer pulls out and has a lid on the top so it can be used as a step to get into the bed. The lid lifts up for additional storage.

The two small drawers also open. I forgot to open them and take a photo.
The walk-thru door to LQ area. Note the cowboy shower in the upper right corner.  These photos were taken when we purchased the trailer in 2009.  That is soap residue running down the rubber wall under the shower, from the previous owner. The trailer was thoroughly cleaned when we brought it home.

Interior of LQ, walk-thru door leading to horse area.
Note microwave and cupboards to the left.
For Sale: 1998 GN aluminum skin LQ Sundowner 3 horse slant load in excellent condition with a clear title.

Trailer weighs 7,200 lbs.

Living quarters has a four foot short wall, walk-thru door from LQ to horse area, cowboy shower, microwave, sink, water heater, large water tank, AC & heat, and awning.  The entire trailer floor (minus the GN) is approximately 21' long.

Two drop down windows on one side and two slide windows on other side, rear slide windows, interior and exterior loading lights in horse area. Padded lined walls and collapsible tack area.

This is a "weekender" LQ package.  There are no bathroom facilities, nor a stove or refrigerator.  The water tank holds several gallons of water. We took this trailer camping several times for 3-4 days per trip. Two people took one to two showers each day (we were fishing)  washed dishes, etc. and had 15 gallons of water left in the tank when we got home.  We never hooked up to water at the campground or at horse shows.

This trailer has lots of cupboard space, clothes closet, shelf for a tv, large mirror above the sink area. Electrical plug-ins at the counter/sink area and on tv shelf.

Interior trailer photos were taken with the 2 full size horse dividers removed.  We have the dividers that can be re-installed in the trailer.  The horse area is also equipped with custom made stalls to comfortably haul 5 or more Miniature horses.  The stalls are big enough to haul two Miniatures per stall and there is one stallion tie-in stall.  The Miniature Horse stall dividers can be completely removed for full use of the horse area for additional living quarters.  The Mini stalls are attached each other, no holes or screws were drilled into the trailer interior itself.

This trailer is in excellent condition.  The horse area is rinsed out after each use.

We like this trailer, but we are ready for a larger living area, but we don't want to pull a longer LQ horse trailer.  Since we do alot of fishing and camping (besides showing horses), we are ready to purchase a camper/RV that will fit our needs.

We are not getting out of the Miniature Horse business, we own two other horse trailers to transport horses.

This was taken standing in the LQ facing the back of the trailer.  This is the collapsabile tack area.  The wood you see on the side walls are the frame for the Miniature Horse stalls. The frame can be easily removed.

The interior of the horse area has no holes drilled, nor any screws in the interior walls. The mini stalls were built to stand alone for easy removal and no damage to the trailer itself.

There are two roof vents in the horse area.

I could not get photos of the Miniature Horse stalls installed, since we are storing our cart in the trailer over the winter.
Clothes closet on left, upper cupboard space above sink.
This is the tv shelf with storage above and below.  The white buttons (see center photo) power up the lights and water pump. Electrical wiring can be seen in top cupboard for the electrical outlet facing the bed.
